Dr Steven Phipps is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies at University of Tasmania, with expertise in ice sheet modelling, climate system modelling and palaeoclimatology. His research aims to understand past changes in the climate of Antarctica and the Southern Hemisphere. He is particularly interested in using this information to improve our ability to predict future changes.
