Simon is an environmental engineer and scientist who specialises in improving management of water resources from the site to basin scale. He is the Director of Alluvium International, a subsidiary of Alluvium Consulting. Alluvium’s international work focuses on contributing to solutions for water resources related issues across the Asia-Pacific.
Simon has been responsible for managing large multi-disciplinary teams to deliver multi-million-dollar water resources and climate change related projects for donors across the Mekong region and South Asia including the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, USAID and the Mekong River Commission. Simon holds a Masters in Integrated Water Resources Management from McGill University and Bachelors of Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science from Melbourne University.
