Peiyuan Lan

Peiyuan Lan is Master’s Candidate at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and is a frequent contributor to the Chinese language political analysis site CNPolitics.org.

Peiyuan was energy, resources and environment analyst at Beijing advisory China Policy, contributing to research reports for clients such as the World Bank. She was Asia macroeconomics and data analyst at Wood Mackenzie, working on quantitative research in oil, gas, and metals, as well as household survey data on China and India consumption.

Her current research covers Asia and China’s macroeconomics, China’s central-local governance relationships and social inequality in China. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science from Renmin University of China.
