Dr Marco Rizzi is a Senior Lecturer in the Law School, University of Western Australia, where he teaches and researches Tort Law, Health Law & Policy, and Regulatory Theory. His research focuses specifically on how law can be used as a tool for the protection of individual and collective health and safety, including the impact of regulatory infrastructure on the development of vaccines for pandemic and epidemic diseases. He is currently leading a project that looks into the impact of liability rules and compensation schemes for vaccine injuries on societal vaccine confidence.
