Kathleen Segerson is a Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor in the Economics Department at the University of Connecticut.
Her research has focused on the incentive effects of environmental policy. She is a fellow of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists and of the American Agricultural Economics Association.
She has been a member of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Science Advisory Board and of the Board on Agriculture and Natural Resources of the National Research Council (NRC) of the National Academy of Sciences. She currently serves on the NRC’s Advisory Committee for the U.S. Global Change Research Program. Dr Segerson holds a BA in mathematics from Dartmouth College and a PhD in agricultural and resource economics from Cornell University.
