Julie Hare is Editor of BroadAgenda, a product of the 50/50 by 2030 Foundation at the University of Canberra

Over the course of a substantial career in journalism, communications and policy analysis, Julie is has worked as higher education editor at The Australian and editor of Campus Review. As a freelancer and consultant she’s worked with a range of clients, including a twice-weekly blog for UK start-up Wonkhe, a media outlet with a focus on higher education policy.

Previously, at KPMG, Julie took on a role with a mandate to develop brand recognition and trust within the higher and vocational education sectors by writing “thought leadership” articles that were fresh, challenging and thought-provoking to both policymakers and practitioners.

She is the winner of numerous awards for journalism and is regularly asked to speak at conferences, seminars and summits.
