Jioji Ravulo

Working in the community sector since 2000, and as an academic since 2011, Dr Jioji Ravulo continues to work with Pacific, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities locally and regionally through various community based initiatives. This includes Pasifika Achievement To Higher Education (PATHE), that strives to develop vocational and career aspirations in Pacific communities, and the Pacific Islands Field Education (PIFE) project providing scope to promote professional social work practice across the Pacific. Jioji is the Academic Course Advisor for the Bachelor of Community & Social Development, a three year undergraduate degree for Indigenous students.  

Jioji has supported the delivery of a Pacific studies online unit through the Australian National University (ANU), and the development of social work teaching and learning through the University of the South Pacific. He is also actively involved in promoting cultural awareness and mental health literacy through the National Rugby League and the Australian Rugby Union.
