James O’Donnell

James O’Donnell is a Postdoctoral Fellow and research assistant at the School of Demography in the College of Arts and Social Sciences at The Australian National University, and winner of The Australian Population Association’s 2014 WD Borrie Prize.

His main research interest is in dynamic population modelling of a range of demographic, social and economic processes and phenomena to better understand their nature and effects on the population. This extends in particular to analyses of urban and regional population change, household formation, poverty and homelessness, education and labour markets, migration and population health.
