Helen Freris has been employed as National Services manager for International Social Service Australia since 2008, and manager of international family mediation services since 2016. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Social Work degree, a Certificate IV in Assessment and Training-2009, a Vocational Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution, and a Graduate Diploma in Community Sector Management. She is an alumnus of the Williamson Community Leadership Program of Leadership Victoria.
She has been accredited by the Attorney-General’s Department as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner since 2012.
Ms Freris’ professional experience has included extensive work with separated parents, individual work and advocacy for parents and families affected by international child abduction and international child welfare, counselling in suicide prevention and disability advocacy.
