Frank Hoffman is a Distinguished Research Fellow at the National Defense University’s Center for Strategic Research.

He has previously been a Research Fellow at the Center for Emerging Threats and Opportunities at the United States Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory from 2001 to 2008. He was responsible for conducting assessments on future threats.
