Cleve Kevin Robert V Arguelles is a political scientist working on political participation, memory politics, and democracy theory.

He is Instructor (on leave) and former chair of the Political Science program at the University of the Philippines in Manila. Under a fellowship, he is presently based at the department of Political Science at the Central European University in Budapest.
