Dr Charles Hawksley is a Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Studies at the University of Wollongong.

His research mainly focuses on topics associated with Oceania, including food security, state-building, police building, intervention, aid and development. He teaches introductory politics, political theory, political economy, social science methods, and human rights.
