Carol Johnson is a Professor of Politics and International Studies at the University of Adelaide. She has held academic positions at The University of Adelaide, University of Technology Sydney and the Australian National University. A central focus of her work is on how governments manage social, economic and technological change.
In that context, her research interests range from analysing issues of political economy and information technology to analysing the politics of race, gender and sexuality, in both an Australian and comparative perspective. She also has a particular interest in the domestic consequences of Australian engagement with Asia.
