Dr Avery Poole is a Senior Fellow at The Australia and New Zealand School of Government and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Crawford School of Public Policy at The Australian National University.
Her research focuses on Southeast Asian regionalism and Australian engagement in the Asia-Pacific region, with a developing interest in the role of the internationalisation of higher education in diplomacy.
She holds a PhD and MA from The University of British Columbia in Canada, and a BA(Hons) and BComm from the University of Melbourne.
